“Why are we here anyway? We never liked Nick and not to mention he is childish. He still asks guests to play lame games like pin the tail on the donkey,” Chris complained to Tom.
“Yes, I know, but it would have seemed rude to reject the invitation. No matter, let’s just go and play games on his computer in his study. He gave me permission. I heard he has Warcraft III and no wonder, he’s filthy rich!”
However, when they got upstairs, they saw Jordan and Al, the class Meanies doing something strange with a bucket containing what they guessed was water. “Hey,” pointed out Chris, “How come they were invited?”
“Remember that in school Nick is kind of oblivious to everything?” said Tom.
“Oh yeah. Darn it!” whispered Chris.
The Meanies seemed to be preparing a prank for Nick when he came up. They thought that one or two laughs are okay, and Nick would not mind since he was the playful sort, not to mention that they did not exactly like Nick either.
But then, something horrifying and disgusting happened. When Al accidentally tilted the bucket and spilled some water, Chris and Tom saw that it was not water inside the bucket at all. It was mud!
“Ha, ha! I imagine the look on that retard’s face when this is dunked on him!” laughed Jordan.
“Ugh,” Chris said, “That must from the school drain. It’s sick.”
“You’re right!” Tom said, “Water is okay but mud is pure SICK! And I emphasize “SICK” We must put a stop to it!” Well, Jordan and Al must have heard Tom because the next thing they know, Tom and Chris were being chased by Jordan and Al.
When they passed the base of the staircase, Nick’s mom walked pass. Tom and Chris did not notice her, but Jordan and Al did. “Don’t worry Mrs,” Al lied, “We’re just playing Catching!”
They ran all round the house, Jordan and Al trying sneaky tricks to slow them down. “Hey!” Al cried, “Catch!” and hurled a toy car at Chris. Chris, picking up the first thing he saw, which was a magazine, and hit the car and it flew away to the kitchen. Then somebody tripped on it. Tom would stop to apologize, but they were being pursued.
Then it struck him.
“Chris!” Tom shouted with difficulty as he was panting profusely, “I need to ask you to do something!” Tom and Chris discussed their plan while running. “Okay then!” Chris exclaimed and then they split up. Al pursued Chris but lost him around the corner, so he decided to try and corner Tom instead.
Then when Tom lured Jordan to the couch, Chris struck. He had taken some toy cars from the toy box in the living room, and when Jordan ran past the couch, he put them on the floor. Chris did not have time to run upstairs to dump that bucket of puke or find Nick’s parents in the huge crowd as it Jordan or Al catch Tom they would do all sorts of mean things to him, being the class Meanies.
When Tom and Chris were looking for Nick’s parents to tell on him, something unbelievable happened. When they thought they were safe, Al sprung on them and knowing Nick was a huge comics book fan, toppled the nearby bookshelf with anime manga comics up to volume seventy-two, creating a barricade outside the lounge door.
However, Jordan being fit and tall, managed to climb over the barricade and escape. “If only there was an adult in here that could help us, but there are only kids in here playing chess and checkers” Chris moaned.
“But of course!” Tom clapped his hands, “Lots and lots of kids are in here!”
“Hey! Who wants to read comics?” Tom announced. Surprisingly, all the kids in the room, which was their whole class Nick’s brother’s class, stopped playing board games and rushed over to pick up their comics, which pretty much cleared the barricade for them.
When they got out, what they saw Al doing made them furious. And it seemed that they were not the only ones who were either. Nick’s parents were fuming mad! From what they overhead, Al lied to Nick’s parents and said that the pranks which they prepared was the work of Tom and Chris, and the toppled comic collection was Tom and Chris’s doing as well! So it was Nick’s parents’ turn to chase the twosome.
But that was when Al and Jordan made their big mistake. Nick’s parents chased Tom and Chris upstairs to where the trap was laid. “Wuh-oh,” Al gasped. “They’ll foil our plan!” Jordan shouted, “Give chase!”
But they got careless. They totally forgot that Nick was playing with superman action figures on the staircase and they tripped Nick!
“Way to go Nick!” Chris exclaimed. “Who are you and what have you done with Chris? I thought a few hours ago you were complaining you did not like him.” Tom said. “Yeah, I know,” Chris replied, “that felt awkward too.” They got to Nick’s study, climbed on the ladder Al and Jordan left there and took the bucket down. “Ugh,” Tom said, “I know just what to do with this!”
Tom went halfway down the stairs to where Jordan and Al were, and poured it on their heads. “Well, how do you like THAT!”
“Ewww…!” they screamed.
After that, Tom and Chris went to Nick’s parents and explained the whole thing. Nick’s parents apologized for the misunderstanding, but Tom was cool with it.
When the party ended, Tom and Chris reflected on their whole experience. “Well, I’m glad that’s over” said Tom.
“Yeah,” Chris replied, “Did you see their faces when you poured mud on them?”
“Yeah, ha ha.”
“It was quite hard.”
“But we did it.”

The ending was very abrupt and some of the parts in the story I did not quite understand though I think the plot was quite good
